Outfit share – Shift Dress Inspiration

Posted on: January 22, 2016 by Yummo Mummo

I recently went to support a fabulous photographer  friend as she featured her art in a local gallery. We are in the middle of winter and I’m feeling like I want to wear a dress that is fun and bright. I was gifted this dress by a very nice friend about a year ago. You’ll remember it from my post HOLY SHIFT DRESS.

Have you ever seen a fashion photograph underwater? Then head to my Instagram page HERE to see this absolutely exquisite photograph, and see the photographer and model behind it. While you are there, FOLLOW ME  for my daily outfit of the day inspirations that truly is real Mum style – YummoMummo herself.

As for accessorizing a dress like this, there is plenty of pattern so I didn’t want to introduce a necklace. I simply stuck with some statement earrings and an arm party with plenty of stacked bracelets.

I added my super warm woolen coat that I picked up in my New York days. Although California winters are much warmer, I still love a chance to pull this jacket into an after dark outfit.

Lipsty Shift dress $66 by Asos. The color blocking in this dress can be very flattering for most body types. Outfit suggestions : add a black vegan leather moto jacket, some black opaque stockings and some brown leather boots. Cooler weather : some black jeweled blinged out T-strap sandals and a black and white tribal scarf.

Don’t forget to now head on over to my previous post titled HOLY SHIFT DRESS. It was in my first 6 months of this blog, so go and enjoy the nostalgia.
